A web series in ten parts following "the story of two guys waiting to get picked up" after writing their first pilot. Clark and Michael are painfully naive and completely oblivious of the fact that they are your basic losers - to the point of denying their obvious faults and imagining that girls who despise them are actually hot for them.
The opposition is set up well between the two buddies; over the course of the series, they become more and more like a bickering old couple, attacking each other over the smallest mistakes. Each episode also has an outside opponent that has some problem with their script (which begins to feel episodic after so many failed attempts).
Clark and Michael begin to follow the hypothetical steps to selling a screenplay; playing it totally naive, they point out how ridiculous the entire system is. Much like an Apatow production, which many actors in this series have played previous roles in, the plan often diverts into real-life sub-plots that have nothing to do with the desire line but are great for character development and laughs.
Though the battle has hardly begun before the series ends with a "CBS ex machina," this web series gained a lot of notoriety because it was simple, funny, and had great characters.
