One of the few video games to ever receive GameSpot's perfect 10 rating, Metal Gear Solid 4 pushes the limits of what is expected of video games,
both from the creators and the players. While some say the game is even too heavy-handed in its storytelling, the pros praise this story of an
aging hero's "last hurrah" and maintain that watching the cinematics (or "in game" movies) give this game a more complete feeling than possible than any
other game in history.
With the recent success of Metal Gear and Grand Theft Auto, both in their 4th installments, it is becoming more apparent that elaborate
cinematics and stronger storylines are essential, in the over-crowded world of gaming, to grab critical acclaim and take the number-one spot.
